Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using the KasaBase platform. All users must comply with this policy. Violation may result in account suspension or termination.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or flood the Service with excessive requests
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service to send spam, phishing emails, or unsolicited messages
  • Store or transmit illegal, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent content
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent

3. API Usage

If you have API access enabled on your plan, you must:

  • Comply with published API rate limits
  • Not use the API to build a competing product or service
  • Keep API keys confidential and rotate them if compromised
  • Include proper attribution when displaying data obtained through the API

4. Resource Usage

Your use of the Service must not:

  • Consume disproportionate server resources relative to your plan
  • Store files unrelated to your business operations
  • Use the platform as a general-purpose file hosting service

5. Marketplace Integrations

When using marketplace integrations (Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Shopify), you must:

  • Comply with each marketplace's terms of service and seller policies
  • Ensure product listings are accurate and not misleading
  • Not use automation features to circumvent marketplace restrictions

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take action against any violations of this AUP, including:

  • Warning the account holder
  • Temporarily suspending access
  • Permanently terminating the account
  • Reporting the activity to law enforcement where appropriate

We may also modify this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
